By accessing or using worldonrecord.com ("WOR"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. WOR is operated by Ineova. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the platform.

1. PERMITTED USE

WOR is a conflict intelligence platform. You may access and use WOR for:

  • Personal research and education
  • Journalistic reporting and analysis, with attribution to WOR as the source
  • Academic research and policy analysis, with proper citation
  • Organizational situational awareness (NGOs, think tanks, businesses)

2. PROHIBITED USE

You may not:

  • Reproduce, republish, or redistribute WOR data or content in bulk without written permission from Ineova
  • Scrape or systematically download WOR data for commercial redistribution without a licensing agreement
  • Use WOR forecasts, severity scores, or conflict data to make financial, investment, or operational decisions without independent verification
  • Misrepresent WOR data, remove source attributions, or present WOR content as your own original work
  • Use the platform in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair its operation

3. FORECAST DISCLAIMER

WOR forecasts are probabilistic estimates based on historical patterns and current data. They are not guarantees of future events and should not be treated as such.

Confidence levels reflect model agreement and data completeness — not outcome certainty. WOR forecasts are provided for informational purposes only. No reliance should be placed on WOR forecasts for decisions involving safety, security, financial exposure, or legal obligations.

4. DATA ACCURACY AND ATTRIBUTION

WOR aggregates data from third-party sources including ACLED, GDELT, UNHCR, UN OCHA, and open news feeds. While we strive for accuracy, WOR does not guarantee the completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of all data displayed. Data is attributed to its source and should be independently verified before operational use.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The WOR brand, logo, platform design, severity scoring methodology, and original editorial content are the property of Ineova. Underlying data is sourced from third parties and subject to their respective licenses — see each source's terms for details.

Quoting or referencing WOR data in journalism, academic work, or public analysis is permitted with attribution: "Source: WOR — World On Record (worldonrecord.com)."

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

WOR is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ineova disclaims all liability for any damages arising from use of or reliance on WOR data, forecasts, or content. This includes but is not limited to decisions made on the basis of WOR severity scores, probability estimates, or conflict intelligence briefs.

7. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our platform or applicable law. Continued use of WOR after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
